Right of withdrawal

The general rule

If you buy as a consumer — that is, for purposes outside your trade or profession — the law gives you fourteen days to change your mind, without giving a reason and without penalty.

When you lose it, and why

An eSIM is digital content we deliver to you immediately: the moment you pay, the QR code is in your inbox and the profile has already been issued and paid for by us to our supplier. It cannot be returned or reused.

That is why, at the point of purchase, we ask you two things explicitly:

• to request that performance begins immediately, without waiting out the fourteen days;
• to acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery has taken place.

This follows Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, as implemented in Italy. Without that double confirmation the right of withdrawal remains intact: which is why the box has to be ticked by you, and is never pre-ticked.

If you haven't received the eSIM yet

Until delivery has happened, your right of withdrawal is untouched: write to us and we will refund you in full within fourteen days, using the same means of payment you used.

This takes nothing away from your guarantees

Losing the right of withdrawal does not leave you unprotected. If the eSIM doesn't work, won't install, or doesn't match its description, you are still entitled to repair, replacement or a refund. Write to us: in practice we replace or refund without argument whenever the problem lies with the profile or the network.

How to withdraw

A clear statement to info@boomesim.com, or by certified email to paystore@pec.it, within fourteen days is enough. You may use the form below, but you are not obliged to.

Refunds

Where a refund is due, we make it within fourteen days of your notice, using the same means of payment you used for the purchase, at no cost to you.
